Personality & Traits

General Overview Gregarious nature. He can be as fun-loving one moment, as he can be serious the next. Forgives easily, though forgetting is another story. Tries to take things in stride.

Loyal to a fault. Would rather be with the combat teams sometimes than the civilians that never take a risk but love to criticize.
Strengths & Weaknesses He can set his demeanor like a pit-bull and never give up something when he wants to. That is a strength and a failing at the same time as he can sometimes jumps to conclusions with relationships and it has led him into turmoil before. He like facts.

Has a tendency to simmer and take things, then blow with no restrain. Rare but it happens.
Ambitions Having raised a daughter, he is now concentrating on his career. No real ambition to rise to any particular office, just enjoys being a doctor.
Hobbies & Interests Botany. Has played the double bass for 20 years and the electric bass for 10.

Personal History His friends call him Kari'. He grew up on an Indian reservation in upstate New York on Earth where he learned at an early age that he had a knack for treating people and animals. His soft nature, with a voracious appetite for the reading, quickly outgrew the small library and soon was blowing through pre-med course offered online.

By his early 20's he was accepted to the Julliard school of music but turned it down to in favor of a scholarship at Columbia University school of Medicine. After graduated, he was interning at one of the local Veteran's hospitals and realized he could do more good getting the better care while still in the field.

He sidestepped most of the Starfleet academy going into Officer's Candidate school as he already had a medical degree.
